Basic knowledge of solid electrolytes in all solid-state lithium batteries
Classification of solid electrolytes: Based on the classification of solid electrolytes into polymer electrolytes and inorganic solid electrolytes
The composition of inorganic solid electrolytes mainly includes oxide solid electrolytes, sulfide solid electrolytes, and other categories.
Comparison of properties of different solid electrolyte materials:
Polymer electrolytes have the lowest cost, are easy to process and prepare, and have excellent interface compatibility. But it has extremely low room temperature ion conductivity.
Oxide electrolytes have balanced performance, but their application is limited by high sintering temperature and insufficient room temperature ionic conductivity.
Sulfide electrolyte has the highest conductivity at room temperature and good interface compatibility, making it the best choice for all solid-state lithium battery applications. But its stability in the air is not very good.
